Our athletics team delivered an outstanding performance at the District Athletics Competition held at the K2, competing against 10 other schools from the area. This marks our second athletics win of the year, a fantastic achievement that reflects the hard work, dedication, and talent of our students.

With a huge total of 181 points, our school secured 1st place overall, beating the second-place team by 26 points. The atmosphere was electric, with all our athletes giving their best in every event and showing brilliant sportsmanship throughout the day.

We had several standout performances, including Reggie Hart and Anna Duncan in the 100m sprint, with Anna also dominating the 300m. Charlotte Threlfall impressed in both the high jump and long jump, alongside Sophie Duncan. In the field events, Vinnie Miller threw a fantastic 20m in discus, while Thomas Brasier launched the javelin 37m to claim top spot. Our intermediate boys' and girls' 4x100m relay teams also stormed to victory, showcasing great teamwork and speed.

Congratulations to all athletes who took part, your efforts have once again made the school proud. A big thank you to the PE staff for organising and supporting the team, and to everyone who came to cheer us on. Bring on the next challenge!
