- Appointed as Head at St Paul’s in April 2009 having been Deputy Head in the school since 2007
- Led St Paul’s to have results consistently in the top 10% nationally and top 100 state schools both at GCSE and A level
- Leads Inspire Teaching School Alliance and Sussex Maths Hub which has a focus on raising achievement locally and nationally
- Appointed as National Leader of Education by the DfE and NCTL
- Key areas of this work have included school improvement, teaching training, leadership development and pupil premium reviews
- He has two children one of whom is currently at the school
