Year 8 students completed in the IET Faraday Challenge Day at Gatwick Airport STEM Centre on 27th March.
Competing against another school in the National competition, St. Paul’s had the winning team (pictured). The team collaborated to design and build a prototype addressing the brief of ‘an educational toy for a child aged 2 to 5 years old’ with a working electronic circuit.
They showed creativity and resilience, working within a budget to realise their design. The group then presented their concept to the judges and together with their workbook, they achieved the highest marks on the day. Congratulations to the winners!
