Transportation

Students travel to St Paul’s Catholic College from right across Mid and West Sussex, Brighton and Hove. When applying for a place at St Paul’s, parents/guardians will also need to consider arrangements for transportation to and from the College.

Parent groups have collectively organised for Mid and East Sussex to be served by two coach companies for the school run to St Paul's.

  • Mid Sussex Routes

Sussex Coaches provide dedicated routes to the College covering Cowfold, Bolney, Haywards Heath, Cuckfield and Lindfield. Please contact Sussex Coaches for more information about the routes and services they offer.

The boarding of coaches on the College site is supervised daily by College Leadership Team (CLT) staff for the safety of our students.

By Bus

Local bus services are provided by Compass Bus, with routes that link nearby towns and villages across Mid-Sussex and covering much of Burgess Hill. The Triangle Leisure Centre, located directly opposite St Paul's Catholic College is served by the 35A/35C with a special bus operated for students am & pm. Route 100 also serves The Triangle every hour all day. The Triangle Leisure Centre is connected with the College via an underpass for a safe and convenient crossing.

By Bicycle

A bicycle rack is located near the underpass on the College site for students who intend to cycle to school. Please ensure that students wear the necessary safety equipment and cycle with care.

Students should secure their bicycle with their own lock when stored on-site. Students can hire a locker on the premises for storing cycle gear during the day.

By Car

To ensure the safety on-site, we ask that students are dropped off and picked up from The Triangle leisure centre and use the underpass into the College site.

There are two car parks on-site (east and west of the building) for use by staff, Sixth Form students and visitors.

On Foot

Those students who live in walking distance of the College should use the underpass, open from 7am until 7pm Monday to Friday term-time only, to safely cross into the College site.

Please check that students are using safe, well-lit routes on their journey to College and take extra care when crossing roads.
