Striving to help others

Maisie, Year 7, is selling beautifully handcrafted dog toys on Facebook to raise money for local mental health services.

The idea of selling the toys started from Maisie's desire to give something back and help raise awareness of the mental health difficulties that children and young people can experience.

For every toy sold on Maisie’s Facebook page, Amaisieboo, £1 is donated to Chalkhill, a specialist mental health service for children and young people based in Haywards Heath, which is provided by Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
