A Level Gold once again

Students at St. Paul’s Catholic College achieved fantastic A level results once again this year with 62% of students gaining A*-B grades with 32% of all grades being graded A* or A. Since 2012 the results have been above 60% A*-B which places St Paul’s in the top performing schools nationally at A level.

Overall 86% of students achieved A*-C grades and 100% passing their A levels. All the staff students and families today celebrated the results following the hard work and dedication shown over the last two years.

A stand-out performances came from Ron Dou (Natural Sciences, Cambridge) with four A* grades. Other exceptional results included Siobhan Connellan (Music, Cambridge), Eleanor Crabtree (Chemistry, Durham), Lucy Hagger (Physiotherapy, Brighton), Kimberly Hallam (Chemistry, Sussex), Laurence Jones, Connor Main (Spanish and Politics, Bath) and Ellen Martin who achieved 3 or more A*and A grades.

These results are a testament to all the students and their dedicated teachers. We are really thrilled for them all.

Other great results included Dan Bond, Phil Demetriades (Business Management, Oxford Brookes), Sebastian Robinson, Gabriella Schummer (Events Management, Plymouth), Connor Scott and Wade Stephens (Football Business and Media, Buckhingham) who got 3 or more A* and A grades including BTEC qualifications.

We are all very proud of the students and all they have achieved this year. It is great to see them flourish as they move on to the next chapter.
