Year 12's Ellie Trott was successful in her application to the 'Making Dreams Come True' programme offered by the Rotary Club, winning financial support that will enable Ellie to participate in the Lourdes pilgrimage this summer.

While studying for her AS exam, Ellie Trott received the wonderful news of being selected to participate in the Lourdes pilgrimage this summer from 29th July until 5th August, assisting and supporting pilgrims with disabilities to help them enjoy their experience.

Rotary International is a global network of service volunteers. It is the world's largest service organisation for business and professional people, with some 1.2 million members operating in 168 countries world-wide. Ellie had applied to the Rotary Club's 'Making Dreams Come True' programme by writing a letter outlining what her dream was and why, and was subsequently invited to attend an interview.
