St Paul’s Charity Christmas Cards

We have produced a set of 4 Christmas cards to raise awareness and funds to support the following 9 amazing charities which our students are partnered through our college Justice & Peace (J&P) Programme: Burgess Hill Community Food Bank, Brighton Voices in Exile, Cafod, Chance for Childhood, Chestnut Tree House, Marys Meals, Project Antifreeze and Traidcraft.

Every Year Group focuses on a particular Justice & Peace (J&P) Theme (e.g. Yr 7 – Poverty: Food & Water; Yr 9 – Poverty: Conflict and Yr 10 – Poverty: Trade & Trafficking). Alongside each theme we have identified exemplary charities that work both locally and globally to tackle such issues as nutrition, education, child soldiers, human trafficking, ethical trading, illness, refugees and homelessness.

These cards bear images of various events in the nativity story including the flight, as refugees, of the Holy Family to Egypt. The designs have been given to us by Benedictine Monks from Abbaye Keur Moussa in Senegal.

Each pack of 8 cards (containing 2 sets of the 4 images plus envelopes) costs £3 and the proceeds of sale will be split between the 9 charities.

Thank you in anticipation of your solidarity and support and we wish you a happy Christmas and a very blessed New Year when they arrive!
