St Paul’s this year has celebrated a hat-trick of successes to truly celebrate. At the end of February St Paul’s welcomed an Ofsted team to the school. As an ‘outstanding’ school there had not been a full inspection since 2007 so it was an important opportunity to share the developments at the school and St Paul’s was proud to be graded ‘outstanding’ once again in every category.
Pupils benefit from attending this inclusive and exceptional school. They recognise the high expectations leaders have for them and constantly strive to meet them. Pupils are highly motivated and ambitious to achieve as much as possible... Pupils at St Paul’s Catholic College are truly ‘known and loved’. Ofsted 2023
In September St Paul’s marked the 60th anniversary of the school initially opening. The school opened on 10th September 1963 and moved to its current site in Burgess Hill in September 2004. There is much to celebrate to mark this important year and St Paul’s is looking forward to celebrating it fully in the summer with an event for pupils, families, staff and past pupils
In December The Times and Sunday Times published their Parent Power rankings of schools nationally at GCSE and A level. St Paul’s was ranked 171st which placed them as the 15th highest comprehensive school nationally. This is a great testament to the hard work and dedication of the students, the innovative and enthusiastic teaching and support of all staff and families.
It has been fantastic to celebrate these three significant moments in the life of the school. We are proud of the strengths of our community but continue to strive to get better each and every day. I am grateful for the support and commitment of great families, enthusiastic students and talented staff
