Our fantastic Year 7 students visited the Cuckmere Valley in East Sussex this week to undertake their first physical geography fieldwork since joining us at St Paul's. Building upon their 'Shaping of the Land' unit of work, students investigated the evidence for erosion along the River Cuckmere. They used a variety of techniques to measure the river's characteristics at several sites, whilst also visiting key locations to discuss the features and process involved in the development of meanders.
